Our History

Established in 1972 as R.J. Kell and Co., the practice has provided surveying services to the ACT and New South Wales for 40 years and has successfully completed a range of projects, big and small for a variety of clients. As a keen and devoted employee of 9 years, Peter Williams became a partner of the business in 1999. As Director, Peter has been an integral element to the business success. Peter wanted to maintain the key ingredient that set the surveying firms apart in the first place, better service.

Experienced, qualified and resourceful, Peter earned his degree for Applied Science in Surveying through Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. Peter has two Diplomas in both Business and Management. Working as a registered surveying in the Canberra region for over 30 years, Peter has adapted to many changes throughout the industry which includes embracing the latest survey technology into 4D Surveying’s business practice.
